Minister Piyush Goyal described this as the largest business delegation to ever leave Indian shores, spanning multiple sectors, including many of India’s traditional industries.
Startup Policy Forum was proud to represent the breadth and depth of India’s new-age economy, alongside our members Vikram Chopra of Cars24, Aayush Agarwal of Snabbit and bhanu pratap singh tanwar of FRND.
If the packed schedule and the quality of our conversations are any indication, the interest in India is immensely high, a sign of the huge potential for bilateral cooperation between our two countries.
During one of the sessions, Vikram highlighted how Cars24 is now expanding globally after cracking the Indian market, a reminder that if you can build a business in India, you can build one anywhere.
We had excellent conversations with investors including SBI Investment, MUFG and Neuberger and with industry bodies like JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization and Japan Chamber of Commerce.
But the real upside of these delegations is always the bonding among founders - breaking the ice, sharing each others journeys, understanding sectors, pain points, and challenges.
