Startup Baithak - National Startup Day

Startup baithak is an initiative launched by Startup Policy Forum at the G20 Summit Room in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi and supported by DPIIT (Department for promotion of industry and internal trade) and Startup India. 

Hosted on the 15th-16th of January on the national startup day 2025, it brought together founders and leaders with government officials and regulators for in-depth policy discussions. 

It consisted of 12 closed-door roundtable conferences that covered key policy issues like Data Privacy, Reverse Flipping, Al Governance, Capital Market Regulations, and Fintech Regulations, bringing together over 100 stakeholders, including leading startups such as Swiggy, Razorpay, OYO, and Physics Wallah, alongside key government officials like G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant, Dr. Shamika Ravi of the Economic Advisory Council to the PM, and secretaries from DPIIT, MEITY, and the RBI Innovation Hub. 

Each session was aimed at bridging founders’ innovation perspectives with regulatory frameworks, with a clear emphasis on actionable outcomes.
